Ms. Karen Jefferson is a nationally noted archivist (retired) with over 40 years of experience and leadership working at the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center, Howard University; and at the Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center. She prepared the Walter Rodney Papers and Collection for research access while at the Woodruff Library. She served as a program officer at the National Endowment for the Humanities and she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the National Historical Records and Publications Commission.
