Dr. Winston Price is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia. He is a board-certified pediatrician and a past president of the National Medical Association. Dr. Price also practices clinical medicine serving a SW population in Georgia with a focus on preventive care and health equity initiatives.
He received his MD from Cornell University Medical College and completed residency at the Weill-Cornell Medical Center-Sloan Kettering Medical Center in NYC.
Dr. Price serves as the President & Chair for the National African American Drug Policy Coalition; Chair of the Southwest Georgia Area Health Education Center (SOWEGA-AHEC); Chief Technology & Information Officer for the W. Montague COBB/NMA Health Institute which is a think tank addressing disparities in healthcare, equity in clinical research participation and fostering pathways for students and early career scientists. He is also a member of the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health Steering Committee.
